Milacron is looking for a Controller & Office Manager to join our team in Czech Republic. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the financial, legal, and administrative functions of Milacron Czech Republic s.r.o., ensuring compliance with Czech laws, supporting internal and external audits, and acting as a key interface between various departments and authorities.

Work You’ll Do:

• Manage the company's financial and legal transactions, including preparing financial statements under Czech law and US GAAP, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Monitor and analyze business figures, costs, and performance to identify areas for cost savings and operational improvements.
• Oversee banking activities, including processing payments, reconciling bank statements, and supporting customer collections.
• Prepare and submit tax filings, manage travel expense reports, and handle other administrative tasks such as correspondence with authorities, insurance companies, and service providers.
• Act as an interface between the European headquarters and local departments, supporting HR, legal, and data protection matters under Czech law.

Qualifications:

Must Have:

• Secondary school or university degree with a focus on economics.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or controlling, preferably in an industrial or international environment.
• Fluent in written and spoken Czech and English; German language skills are advantageous.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, taxes, and legal regulations under Czech law, US GAAP, and customs procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365, Onestream, and Enterprise 1 (E1).
• Willingness to undertake international business trips as needed.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in a multinational or American company environment.
• Knowledge of Czech legal and tax regulations, and experience supporting audits and tax filings.
• Certification or training in accounting, controlling, or tax law.
