We are looking for a Business Controller in Cluster West Europe (BeLux/FR/NL).
In this role you will support the business as part of the West Europe Customer Service Leadership Team and be part of the Regional Service Controlling Team. You will report to the Regional Service Controlling Manager, located in the Nordics.

As Cluster Service Controller you will support the Cluster Service Director (SD) in all efforts related to his/her job description to successfully develop the service business through effective financial and operational steering and business partnering to the Cluster Service Management Team. This includes support in breaking down and implementing financial and operational targets and analyzing the financial results.

As Cluster Service Controller you will help to bridge markets and cluster for detailed initiatives and/or analyses as well as consolidate purposes within the cluster. To succeed you need to feel confident building relations and cooperating remotely with colleagues from inside the cluster as well as from the regional and central functions.

 This position is located in Netherlands (Vianen), Belgium (Mollem) or France (Le Blanc-Mesnil).

About you

You are currently in a Business Controller role in a multi-country set up with the desire to progress your career with Miele. This role will offer you excellent breadth in your career development in a broad set up of markets and in the field of finance.

 Your key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Service operations for operational performance analysis

• Support Cluster Service Director in improving Customer Service financial development in the cluster through active financial management and close business partnering with the cluster Service Management Team

• Conduct financial analyses and communicate key financial developments frequently

• Offer financial guidance for key business decisions

• Prepare budget and forecasts for Customer Service under central guidelines, including maintenance of Customer Service specific planning tools

• Support price changes in Field Service and Spare parts

• Cost control of all service-related costs

• Close cooperation with FP&A colleagues as well as Accounting colleagues

• Regular data validation and adjustment to Service P&L to ensure fair and correct assignment of costs and revenues in accordance with central reporting guidelines

• Support Cluster Service Management Team in projects / alignment's / standardization / roll out new processes etc.

• A go-to person for the Cluster SD for financial and operational transparency of customer service in the cluster
  

 Your competencies / skills

• Fluent in Dutch, both verbal and written.

• University degree in business administration with Major in finance (or comparable)

• Business acumen and commercial mindset

• High analytical skills, proactiveness and strong compliance profile

• 3-8 years experience in a multi-national, multi-location and multi-lingual role

• Good written and oral communication in English and Dutch. French is an advantage.

• Willingness to collaborate in international assignments (short- to long-term)

• Willingness to travel within the cluster on regular basis (average 1-2 days, every other month)
