<h2><strong>The Opportunity</strong></h2>
<p>Midi is hiring a Clinical Manager (CM) to oversee a large, distributed care team, including Care Coordinators (CCCs), Medical Assistants (MAs), and RNs, and ensure reliable, efficient asynchronous care delivery across task-based workflows.</p>
<p>This role is responsible for the end-to-end operations of the care team, including performance management, inbox volume oversight, workflow execution, SOP development, and team culture. Clinical Managers work closely with Nurse Practitioner Managers and Assistant Nurse Practitioner Managers to create a seamless patient and clinician experience across synchronous and asynchronous care.</p>

<h2><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h2>
<h4><strong>Team Leadership & Operational Management</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Directly manage your assigned care team (MAs, RNs, CCCs), up to ~60 team members.</li>
<li>Run monthly 1:1s and regular check-ins to reinforce expectations, accountability, and development.</li>
<li>Monitor day-to-day workflow execution (task flow, handoffs, response times) and intervene early when issues arise.</li>
<li>Coordinate with NPMs and ANPMs to keep synchronous and asynchronous care delivery aligned.</li>

<h4><strong>Clinical Oversight & Inbox Operations</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Own inbox operations for asynchronous task-based workflows (CCCs, MAs, RNs) and partner with NPMs when issues affect NP coverage or patient care.</li>
<li>Track key metrics (volume, turnaround times, error rates, escalations) and adjust workflows to maintain operational health.</li>
<li>Identify bottlenecks in task-based workflows and propose improvements to the Clinical Director and cross-functional partners.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Performance Management & Workforce Health</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Identify early performance concerns across MAs, RNs, and CCCs and address them through coaching, documentation, and formal processes as needed.</li>
<li>Use team metrics to drive clear, meaningful performance conversations.</li>
<li>Partner with NPMs and ANPMs to align expectations, workflows, and quality standards.</li>
<li>Support hiring, role changes, and other workforce decisions with the People team and Clinical Director.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>SOP Leadership & Continuous Improvement</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Serve as primary owner for developing, maintaining, and updating SOPs for care coordination, task execution, inbox workflows, and related processes.</li>
<li>Delegate SOP drafting when appropriate, ensuring accuracy, usability, and adoption.</li>
<li>Lead or participate in process improvement efforts that enhance efficiency, safety, and team experience.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Represent care coordination and clinical support teams in cross-functional meetings (e.g., Product, Informatics, Clinical Education, Quality).</li>
<li>Surface recurring workflow issues with actionable context and partner on solutions.</li>
<li>Participate in relevant committees and working groups.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Clinical Work (as assigned)</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Complete NP patient care (sync and async) as assigned to stay close to the workflows your team supports.</li>
<li>Use clinical experience to inform SOPs, improvements, and guidance for your team.</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Licensed NP/APRN with an active, unencumbered license and board certification.</li>
<li>Minimum <strong>2+ years of recent NP clinical practice</strong> (within the last 2 years) with primary care experience (family practice, internal medicine, or women’s health).</li>
<li><strong>Experience with direct patient care managing women 40+ in all stages of menopause</strong>, including management of <strong>HRT, medical weight management, and related chronic conditions.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience</strong> (supervisor or manager) in a <strong>telehealth environment.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Required: 2+ years of formal people management experience for Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs).</strong></li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to make <strong>independent clinical and operational decisions</strong> in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.</li>
<li>Strong operational mindset with experience managing <strong>high-volume, task-based or inbox-driven workflows.</strong></li>
<li>Skilled in <strong>performance management, coaching, and driving accountability</strong> using data and clear expectations.</li>
<li>Technologically proficient and comfortable working in modern, metrics-driven systems.</li>
<li>Ability to translate metrics into actionable plans for improvement.</li>
<li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong cross-functional collaboration ability.</li>
<li>Experience managing <strong>Medical Assistants, RNs, and/or care coordination teams.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Available to work shifts that meet the Company’s patient care needs.</strong></li>
<li>Experience in a <strong>diversity of care delivery models</strong> with multiple roles in team-based care.</li>
<li>Experience in care delivery models including <strong>acute care, primary care, on-demand care, and longitudinal care.</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>5+ years using AthenaHealth (Athena).</strong></li>
<li>Multi-state licensure or willingness to obtain.</li>
<li>Familiarity with quality review processes and protocol-driven care.<br><br></li>
