Mojang Studios’ Creator Team is looking for an experienced leader to direct our Marketplace Partner Program. Ou professional creators craft amazing experiences that engage our players. We strive for a high level of partner satisfaction and world class support for our incredibly talented partners. 

The Director of Marketplace Partner Program will lead the strategy, operations, and growth of our global creator ecosystem. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our Marketplace, enabling creators to thrive while delivering exceptional experiences to millions of players. You will own the vision for partner engagement, ensuring a healthy, scalable, and innovative ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the long-term vision for the Marketplace Partner Program, aligning with studio goals, and driving competitive differentiation. 

  • Directly oversee a managed service team to conduct onboarding, performance management, and lifecycle management of hundreds of global partner studios. 

  • Develop programs to attract top-tier creators while maintaining rigorous quality, safety, and security standards. 

  • Partner with engineering, product, and marketing teams to deliver tools and analytics that empower creators and optimize player experience. 

  • Lead initiatives for community engagement programs to foster loyalty and growth. 



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year(s) people management experience. 
  • Proven experience leading external teams.
  • Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for gaming and creator communities.
  • Keen ability to drive customer success through relationship building, requirements gathering, and prioritization. 
  • Proven track record of scaling creator or partner programs globally. 

  • Understanding of UGC ecosystems including marketplace dynamics and monetization strategies. 

  • Experience with digital transformation of manual business processes. 



Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
