As part of Manufacturing Central Team Quality Engineering at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be a member of the worldwide Quality Team managing Non-conforming dies (NCD), excursions, variation and deviations for all Micron Fabs. Surfacing concerns in the network and devising strategies to address these concerns.

Specific to your role as Quality Engineering Program Engineer, your work will encompass the responsibilities of managing the activities based on insights devised from the network Quality performance in Frontend nonconformance materials and support the Fab expansion activities in US.

Responsibility:

• You will need to display experience in managing programs setup among different stakeholders internally and externally.
• Well versed in driving projects with the use of data collected from the line and able to support deploying initiatives across different geologic locations.
• Prefer to have understanding of data analytics skills and use those skills and knowledge to provide actionable insights to existing data.
• Background in the manufacturing operation will be required with the ability to understand the impact of site NCD & cost of non conformance performance.

Requirement:

• Independent and self-motivated to see through the completion of projects.
• Possess and/or display knowledge in supplier quality management.
• In addition to possessing technical know-how and being communication savvy, candidate will be looked upon as creative problem solvers to resolve conflicts in projects.
• Demonstrated high-level analytical problem-solving skills, time management, organization and multitasking abilities.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field. 
• Proven experience in quality engineering within a high-tech environment. 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to strictly adhere to quality protocols. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• More than 2 years experience in the memory or storage industry. 
• Proficiency with quality management systems and tools. 
• Demonstrated ability to lead quality initiatives and compete at a global scale.
