As the Chemical Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding the existing and emerging chemical compliance obligations throughout the Micron network and translating those into requirements for global standards and procedures, in partnership with the site teams.  You will also be responsible for implementing to various chemical compliance actions including planning and executing experiments with team members throughout the company and analyzing the data. Participation in external consortia supporting chemical compliance obligations is also likely. A team member in this role will demonstrate their collaboration and communication skills to work closely with the legal department, site operations teams, process engineers, facilities, procurement, and suppliers as needed to ensure chemical compliance.

  • Planning and executing experiments
  • Analyzing data
  • Working with team members to translate compliance obligations into Micron requirements through specifications or other documentation
  • Participate in chemical compliance consortia

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Material Science or Engineering
  • Chemical regulatory basic knowledge required
  • Environmental, health, safety, or sustainability preferred
  • Semiconductor background preferred
  • Assembly test knowledge preferred
