Responsibilities

1. To support New Product & Process Transfer.

• To fulfill smooth transfer and support qualification of New Product Introduction packages from Technology Development (TD) sites to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) sites and ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Facilitate the build of customer, engineering samples for NPI products and packages and supply ideas for cost reduction, process simplification and working flow optimization.

2. Process, Material, and Equipment Support

• Support to maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Process Capability (Cpk); also can identify, investigate, and document quality deviations.
• Apply systematic solving techniques to resolve process issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.
• Process development and validation; also, can adjust process parameters to optimize quality and operational performance with the capability of verifying production process variables (e.g., materials, machine settings).

3. To support Process, Equipment, and Material Development

• Conducting experiments (e.g., Design of Experiments - DOE).
• Can understand process limits, having capabilities to support evaluations/improvements and be able to analyze factors impacting process quality and propose improvements.

4. Implementation of New Processes and Changes

• Maintaining operational procedures/specifications and support updates to the Out of Control Action Plan (OCAP) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
• Familiarize with process qualification procedures and process metrics (e.g., lifetime, tunable parameter); also need to communicate lessons learned and corrective actions to relevant teams
• Coordinate and conduct training for operational personnel (e.g., process equipment engineers, manufacturing operators).

5. Evaluation and Qualification Activities

• Support qualification builds for new devices, equipment, and materials (direct/indirect).
• Participate in evaluation processes and provide suggestions for improving working flow efficiency and simplification.

6. Training Coordination

• Assist in developing training materials for new and existing processes.
• Conduct training sessions for production trainers and operational staff.
