Job Description:

Our team’s Vision is to be Microchip’s trusted advisors. We strive to add value to Microchip’s teams by servicing the overall management system, using a risk-based methodology. We operate within a dynamic audit program. With a consistent, objective approach and open communication, the team’s focus is to assist in evaluating conformance and effectiveness of our systems against policies, procedures and international standards. As a member of our team, you will help achieve this vision by executing the following team responsibilities:

  • Perform internal audits for a multi-national semiconductor manufacturer
  • Facilitate 3rd party (Registrar and Customer) audits
  • Lead internal problem-solving teams to identify root cause and implement systemic improvements
  • Perform feasibility reviews on customer specifications and non-standard requests. Work with internal stakeholders (engineering, factories, etc.,) to implement requirements
  • Support integration activities, related to company acquisitions, into Microchip’s QMS

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Engineering (EE preferred) or equivalent
  • 7+ years of related work experience; preferably in semiconductors or electronics field
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and standards (e.g. ISO9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Statistical concepts (e.g. SPC, DOE, Regression Analysis, MSA, etc.)
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented team player
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $70,304 - $205,000.

Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
