As a General Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and oversight of regional operations while fostering an environment for safe and profitable operations. This position is responsible for project success and profitability within the region. General Managers set the strategic goals in coordination with the Regional Vice President and work with Regional and Project Managers to execute on them. It is essential to manage relationships with clients and network within the industry. Critical for success is the ability to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, and to maintain organization while providing direction and leadership.

What it takes:



  • Bachelor’s degree from 4-year college or university, minimum 10 years of related experience, or equivalent combination

  • Construction Industry experience (electrical power preferred)

  • Experience developing teams 

  • Experience with financial management and forecasting (cost and revenue projections, cash flows, backlog, etc.)

  • Ability to travel 50% for field visits and customer meetings

  • Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by Michels review team
