THE JOB:
The Video Game Machine (VGM) Slot Attendant provides friendly, attentive service to guests by assisting with game play, responding to machine issues, performing paper fills, and ensuring slot machines are operational throughout the gaming floor. This role focuses on creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience by proactively engaging guests, explaining promotions, and maintaining a smooth, guest-focused gaming environment in compliance with all policies and regulations.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Attend pre-shift meetings, receiving keys, radio, and equipment, and reviewing daily promotions and guest service priorities

• Provide friendly assistance to guests by explaining game play, answering questions, and ensuring a positive and welcoming gaming experience

• Monitor assigned slot areas to identify down or malfunctioning machines, troubleshoot minor issues, and return machines to service when possible

• Perform paper fills and ticket replacements accurately and efficiently to maintain smooth machine operation

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors while following all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 18 years or older and able to obtain proper licensure as required by the New York State Gaming Commission

• Must be available to work onsite 6:15pm-2:15am and 9:15pm-6:15am including weekends and holidays

• Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• Has previous customer/guest service experience preferably in a casino, hotel, or similar resort setting

• Has previous slot/gaming experience

Pay Rate

The rate for this role is:

Pay is subject to review following 90 days of employment.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
