THE JOB:
A Shoeshine Associate is responsible for cleaning, polishing, and maintaining the appearance of clients' footwear, typically leather shoes. Duties include applying polish or cream, buffing shoes to a high shine, removing scuffs and stains, and offering basic shoe care advice. Shoe Associate may work in high-traffic areas such as the casino floor or in restroom areas and must provide excellent customer service.
THE STARTING RATE: 13.78/hr plus tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Clean, polish, and buff leather footwear, removing scuffs and stains to achieve a professional shine
Provide courteous, high-quality customer service while working in high-traffic areas such as the casino floor or restrooms
Maintain shoe care equipment and offer basic footwear maintenance advice to guests
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma preferred
6+ Months of prior relevant experience preferred
Knowledge of leather care/basic shoe care preferred
Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends required
