THE JOB:
It is the responsibility of the Poker Room Attendant to greet guests as they enter the poker room, keep and run the players list for all games, and starts and maintains games. The Poker Room Brush may also assist dealers in maintaining tables to ensure efficient operations.
THE STARTING RATE: $18.00 per hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Responsible for the placement of guests into games
Develop customer relations and facilitate usage of the MGM rewards card
Explain rules and answer questions for guests
Open games in accordance with the supervisor’s instructions
Get players checks and maintain poker table banks to ensure efficient operation
Responsible for tracking players by using computer tracking system
Evaluate play for complimentary purposes
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
One year of prior relevant poker experience preferred
Able to work a varied shift to include weekend, holidays, and evenings
