THE JOB:
At The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, it is the primary responsibility of the Hotel Shop Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment throughout the property. This role also assists in daily operations, provides technical and administrative support to management, and ensures that all maintenance activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and standards.
THE STARTING RATE: $39.02 hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Maintain and repair all equipment related to the successful operation of boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators and all equipment that is driven by steam, electricity, gas, air, diesel, water or any other power developing energy which has to do with or is related to the operation of all mechanical equipment
Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
Complete work orders
Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
Experience working in a similar resort setting preferred
