THE JOB:
It is the primary responsibility of the Food Dispatcher at Mandalay Bay to expedite distribution of room service amenities, and all orders to food servers in a timely manner. Must keep a clean workstation and ensure guest satisfaction.
THE STARTING RATE: $23.0083 Hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Receive and distribute order to Food Servers evenly and efficiently; fire order through Micros computers to kitchen lines for timely pick up
Answer phone with professional manner
Log all food service runs; add up total hours of service personnel for payroll and budgeting purpose at the end of each shift
Help guests if they need expedited service due to an emergency
Answer questions the guest may have in a courteous manner and advise of time of delivery when applicable
Maintain excellent working relationships with Food Servers, Runners, Bus Person, and other fellow employees
Maintain all safety and sanitation standards
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Is 21+ years of age
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in a restaurant setting
