THE JOB:
As a Cocktail Server at The Cosmopolitan, you are responsible for setting the tone for an exceptional guest experience through genuine hospitality, a welcoming presence, and attentive service. By anticipating guests’ needs and understanding their individual preferences, you create personalized moments that leave a lasting impression and turn every interaction into a memorable experience long after their visit.
THE STARTING RATE: 14.7457 USD Hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Efficiently and accurately take and serve food and drinks in designated areas
Place orders, garnish, and serve cocktails to guests
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages
Be well-versed in hotel services, features, local attractions, and activities to accurately address guest inquiries
Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, including folding and stacking cocktail napkins, stocking swizzle sticks, straws, matches, and cocktail trays, restocking glassware, and inspecting and maintaining the cleanliness of assigned stations and service areas
Address guest complaints within your authority; escalate unresolved issues to management and notify the supervisor and/or Security of unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or suspected theft
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
6 months prior relevant experience
Prior experience working in a high-volume food & beverage setting
