THE JOB:
As a Barista at Excalibur, you'll be at the forefront of creating exceptional guest experiences. Your warm smile and outstanding service will set the stage for every visitor. By crafting delicious beverages and serving pastries with care, you'll connect with each guest, understanding their unique needs and preferences.
THE STARTING RATE: $20.7834 hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Take and place orders, serve, and garnish food and beverages accurately and efficiently
Handle cash and follow proper cash handling and comp procedures
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of front and back of house, including dining areas, tables, and counters
Prepare and pack orders according to guest preferences, including necessary condiments
Properly label and date products following safety and sanitation standards
Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
Unload, stock, and organize warehouse orders, maintaining inventory and workstations
Address guest concerns within scope, escalating issues to management or security when needed
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Work varied on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Barista experience in a coffeehouse setting
Basic computer skills and experience with varied Point of Sale (POS) systems
