THE JOB:
As the Assistant Security Shift Manager at Vdara, you’ll help protect one of the most sophisticated and dynamic resorts on the Strip. Known for its modern architecture, world-class dining, and elevated guest experience, ARIA sets the standard for contemporary luxury in Las Vegas. In this role, you’ll lead your team with confidence, ensure each shift runs seamlessly, and foster a safe, welcoming environment for both guests and employees.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Promote a safe and secure environment for guests and employees
- Enforce company, local, state, and regulatory safety policies
- Manage security officers, support staff, and department operations
- Implement procedures, enforce policies, and provide coaching or discipline as needed
- Document incidents and ensure proper reporting and follow-up
- Respond to emergencies and reported threats
- Act as a liaison with outside agencies during security incidents
- Assist with and oversee onsite investigations as needed
- Address guest questions and concerns quickly and professionally
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of direct security experience in a high-end resort/casino environment or law enforcement and/or military experience, with previous supervisory experience or in a team leader capacity preferred
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Ability to maintain professionalism and master leadership abilities
