THE ROLE

As a key member of the Global Technology Project Operations & Analytics team, the Project Operations Lead Analyst works closely with the Metrics and Reporting Manager to enhance onboarding, planning, tracking, and reporting. This role maintains and improves operational processes, proactively identifying gaps and translating business needs into actionable requirements. The Analyst collaborates with stakeholders across the firm to support delivery processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals and best practices.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Analyze and improve operational processes (onboarding, planning, tracking, reporting) to enhance project delivery and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define, document, and refine business requirements, ensuring project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize resource and project onboarding management and planning processes.
  • Monitor project activities and industry trends, proactively identifying emerging issues and communicating progress and expectations efficiently.
  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives, leveraging advanced analytical skills and business intelligence tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, supporting recommended delivery models.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, maintaining composure under pressure and focusing on solutions.
  • Foster continuous learning and innovation within the team, staying current with best practices in project and product operations


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of [5] years’ experience in project analysis and process improvement, with at least [3] years in the asset management industry.
  • Good understanding of asset management products, business workflows, and regulatory considerations.
  • Experience with Project and Portfolio Management tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of Tableau or Power BI.
  • Proven track record in driving process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong in meeting facilitation, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, coordination, and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and focus on problem resolution.
  • Experience working with Agile teams and understanding of Agile delivery.

  • Master’s degree

Base Salary Range: $77,900.00 - $136,400.00 This position is eligible for competitive incentive bonus. 

At MFS, we believe in fair and transparent compensation. For that reason, we’re including the salary range for this position. This range reflects our good-faith expectation for what we’ll pay depending on the candidate’s experience, training and education. In addition to the salary, we also offer significant and competitive incentive compensation based on both individual and company performance. Other components of our Total Rewards Package include:

  • MFS contributes an amount equal to 15% of your base salary to your retirement account that is separate from the company -sponsored 401(k) 

  • Education Assistance: MFS contributes $100 monthly up to $10,000 lifetime maximum directly to loan provider
