Position Title: Field Engineer
Job Summary:
- Responsible for the timely installation, setup, maintenance, troubleshooting and replacement (where needed) of endpoint infrastructure (desktops, laptops, desktop printers, scanners, monitors), and other IT infrastructure outside the central data center (branch servers, line printers, LAN switches, bank-owned network equipment, closed-circuit TV, un-interruptible power supply).
- Responsible for the timely rollout and deployment of endpoint software where physical onsite installation is required, e.g. anti-virus, client/server programs, etc.
Role Exposure:
- Be exposed to various existing and new bank IT applications as well as troubleshooting of different platforms and IT-related hardware used by the bank
- Enhance your customer service skills by handling and providing different ways/approaches on how to address various clients’ IT issues
- Acquire knowledge in advanced IT solutions and current practices present in the banking industry as well as techniques and tools used to provide innovation and expertise for enablement to a higher IT roles and responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Experience in help desk or desktop support
- Knowledgeable in computer hardware systems, operating systems, software applications and remote connection systems.
- With excellent customer service, good oral communication, flexible and a team player, knowledgeable in basic IT concerns/programming
