Description
Job Summary: As a Commercial HVAC Controls Cabling Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional HVAC controls installation services to our commercial clients. You will be responsible for the professional installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the cabling systems pertaining to commercial HVAC systems. All technicians are expected to assist in other roles within their abilities from time to time.  This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional who is looking to advance their career and be part of a dynamic team.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with team members and site supervisor to install cabling safely, efficiently, and effectively per job requirements, industry standards and building codes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while working.
• Help ensure excellent job productivity by relaying task hazards, status, and completions accurately and timely.
• Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling for HVAC systems.

 

Qualifications
• Possesses a positive safety attitude and high level of personal integrity.
• Places a high value on workmanship, customer service and satisfaction.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Construction experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Work is performed while standing, walking, and climbing.
• Requires bending, squatting, crawling, reaching, kneeling, and balancing.
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs. with no assistance.
• Requires being around moving machinery, exposure to changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases.
• Work is performed in indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to use a ladder extensively.
