Traveling Electrical Superintendent - Wastewater, Instrumentation, and Control Expertise Required
Location: Columbus, GA
Our Employee-Owned company has immediate full-time openings for an Electrical Superintendent, This position will work across Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, Federal, and Wastewater sectors, and be part of an amazing and GROWING team! All positions are regular, full-time, and benefits eligible. Pay range is dependent on experience, skills, and knowledge.
This position requires a decisive leader with a passion for hands-on work in outdoor environments, particularly in wastewater systems, instrumentation, and control. A strong drive for construction project management is a must, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment. Immediate contributions are expected.
Job Duties:
- Lead and oversee craft workers assigned to specific areas of responsibility, utilizing all resources effectively
- Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety requirements, work rules, and applicable regulations
- Document all violations, notify project management, and recommend corrective actions as needed. Conduct accident investigations when required
- Ensure compliance with all company, client, and project policies, standards, and procedures
- Motivate team members to achieve objectives and maintain a high standard of work
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions such as scheduling, engineering, and material control
- Organize and plan the work for which you are responsible, ensuring all necessary materials, tools, and information are prepared in advance
- Maintain a daily job journal detailing actual events, decisions, and progress
- Experience with wastewater treatment systems, instrumentation, and control is critical in overseeing technical aspects of projects related to these systems

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Positive safety attitude and personal integrity
- Strong customer service orientation and team player; ability to create and maintain strong customer relationships
- Valid driver’s license and insured personal transportation required
- At least 7 years of prior experience in electrical construction, with a focus on wastewater, instrumentation, and control, in DOD, - healthcare, industrial, or premier commercial sectors
- Expertise in estimating, scheduling, and budget processes; 2-4 years of related experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of the NEC and NFPA 70E
- Ability to manage risk and profitability effectively
