Join Our Team: Assessment Center Supervisor

Organization: Operated by Methodist Home for Children in partnership with the Department of Public Safety, the Western Area Juvenile Crisis and Assessment Center is at the forefront of providing comprehensive support for youth in need. Our mission is to match young individuals, aged 10 to 17 and classified as Level II offenders, with the most fitting services within their communities.

Position: Assessment Center Supervisor
Shifts Available: Day Shift: 7am-7pm
Pay: $20-23 per hour (based on education and experience)

What You'll Do: As an Assessment Center Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding and training our dedicated Youth Care Workers. You will oversee the care of the youth served by the Assessment & Crisis Center, providing direct supervision, implementing care services, engaging youth in assessment activities, and ensuring the safety and security of our facilities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Previous supervisory or staff management experience, ideally in a social services setting
  • Experience working with youth in a supportive capacity

Requirements:

  • Valid NC driver's license
  • Successful completion of required screenings and trainings
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
