About the Opportunity
Join Metcash as a Wholesale Coordinator – Food Service & Convenience and play a key role in supporting the success of our wholesale operations. In this fast‑paced and varied role, you’ll partner closely with the Wholesale Manager to ensure flawless execution across key business activities.
You’ll provide essential administrative and operational support across product ranging, product lifecycle management, pricing, promotional planning, and supplier coordination - ensuring everything runs efficiently and accurately.

In this Role
- Support the Wholesale Manager in delivering sales, income, and COGS improvement targets across the FS&C portfolio
- Coordinate day to day wholesale operations, including sourcing, pricing, promotions, costing, and supplier management
- Manage product lifecycle administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing of promotions, new lines, deletions, price changes, and product updates via the Master Data Governance process
- Oversee promotional activity from planning through execution to ensure accuracy and commercial effectiveness.
- Analyse sales, pricing, and competitor data to identify growth opportunities and provide actionable insights
- Support tender activities by managing timelines, sourcing substitute lines, coordinating pricing, and engaging with suppliers
You’re Likely a Match If
- Commercial acumen with an understanding of how they influence success
- Experience in (or a strong understanding of) Wholesale, Food Service and/or FMCG
- Customer focused and collaborative, with ability to influence internally and externally
- Using data and analytic skills in Excel, Power BI, CRMs/planning tools, and Circana (or similar)
- Proven record of delivering priorities in a time‑pressured environment and adapting to change
- Understanding of Wholesale Management and 4P principles
