About this role
We are looking for a Senior or Staff DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our foundations engineering team. We are looking for someone who has seen the challenges of scaling infrastructure in a startup environment and is comfortable working through ambiguity and technical debt to build the foundations that will support our continued growth and massive enterprise customers. This person will be a key player in driving new data and services strategies, critical to delivering on our re-architecture strategy as we scale.What will you be doing?Work with the engineering team to produce highly performant, reliable, and scalable architectures for our largest customers.Improve the sophistication of our deployment pipelines and build self-serve infrastructure tooling (like Atlantis) to enable other engineering teams to move faster.Develop isolated deployment capabilities (managed VPCs) for upmarket customers within their hosted ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).Lead large projects from initial inception to production, participating in roadmapping, architecture, and planning discussions.Participate in on-call rotation and system maintenance activities.
