CT Supervisor - IL Market
Primary location is Javon Bea in Rockford but will travel to Crystal Lake and Harvard on a scheduled basis to ensure clinical quality and staff competency is maintained.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The CT Supervisor oversees the operations of the Mercyhealth CT Departments; plans, assigns, supervises and reviews work of staff involved in the delivery of CT services. Accepts primary responsibility for assuring regulatory compliance (ACR, Radiation Safety, CT QA/QC, Contrast Management). Maintains protocol and scan parameter database to ensure that scans are standardized system wide. Ensures staffing plan is adequate and staff is compliant with all required education. Ensures that equipment is maintained and in compliance. Maintains ARRT certification in CT and performs CT scans and other advanced level procedures under the direction of a radiologist. Maintains patient records in accordance with the system standards.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Graduate from an accredited radiography program.
Minimum Five (5) years CT experience
Experience as a Clinical leader or Supervisor required
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
ARRT (R) and (CT) registration required
IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois
WI-DSPS radiographer license required if working in Wisconsin
Approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days

Passing the Driver’s License Check and/or Credit Check (for those positions requiring).
Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and/or IL Health Care Workers Background Check. Must be able to follow written/oral instructions.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business [periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of staff
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully an individual should have the knowledge of Human resource systems, internet software, inventory software, order processing software, payroll systems time and attendance, spreadsheet and word processing.
