Job Description:

Location: Denver, CO

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $75,000

Deadline: The deadline for submitting applications for this position is February 6, 2026 . Meow Wolf reserves the right to extend this deadline if needed.

Job Summary:

The Events Sales Manager is responsible for sales, channels, strategic initiatives, relations and support within the corporate, association and social group segments.  The  Events Sales Manager will collaborate with internal and external partners to provide sales tools, marketing materials, resources, metrics and analysis in order to drive occupancy, revenue and achieve strategic goals.  This role serves as a key member of the Marketing and Sales Team, interfacing with stakeholders and multiple internal and external partners. 

Key Responsibilities:

Private Event Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Drive private event bookings to meet or exceed revenue goals for the Meow Wolf location.

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities within corporate, social, and association segments.

  • Build and maintain relationships with high-value clients, event planners, and decision-makers to drive repeat business and referrals.

  • Partner with leadership to create exclusive private event offerings and add-ons to attract diverse clientele.

  • Proactively solicit, secure, and manage private event bookings to optimize space utilization and maximize revenue.

  • Solicit and secure corporate, association, and social events by following proper booking procedures to create equitable, clear contracts, event orders, and invoices.

​Sales Strategy & Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including Operations, Marketing, and Events, to deliver seamless private event experiences.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Events to develop strategic initiatives that grow the private event business.

  • Ensure all sales efforts align with Meow Wolf's brand standards and exceed client expectations.

  • Utilize CRM tools (e.g., TripleSeat) to manage leads, track progress, and generate performance reports.

  • Provide regular analysis of sales trends, opportunities, and pipeline activity to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Work with internal partners to create add-on experiences to drive revenue and satisfy market demands.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for private event clients, providing exceptional service throughout the sales and event planning process.

  • Conduct site tours and presentations to showcase event spaces and offerings to prospective clients.

  • Manage contracts, invoicing, and payment processes to ensure a smooth client experience.

  • Continually manage expectations of partners, senior management, and internal departments through clear, concise communication and reporting.

Industry Engagement & Partner Relations:

  • Cultivate relationships with industry partners, including Destination Management Companies (DMCs), CVBs, and hotels, to drive private event sales.

  • Represent Meow Wolf at industry events, familiarization trips, and networking opportunities to promote private event capabilities and establish new partnerships.

  • Develop and evolve vendor relationships within the events community to maintain the highest quality partner offerings for event clients.

Sales Operations & Reporting:

  • Oversee administrative needs for private events, including calendar management, contracts, holds, and follow-ups.

  • Provide clear and concise communication to stakeholders to ensure all private event details are executed flawlessly.

  • Continually monitor sales metrics and provide actionable insights to improve performance and drive growth.

  • Deliver regular reports of sales calls, pipeline, and sales pace, including analysis and evaluation of KPIs and ROI to meet revenue goals.

Event Coordination Support:

  • Coordinate logistics for confirmed private events, ensuring exceptional client communication and satisfaction.

  • Oversee post-event follow-ups, including gathering feedback, processing invoices, and generating repeat business opportunities.

  • Manage administrative needs for events, including placing holds, updating internal calendars, managing contracts, and processing payments.

  • Lead and coordinate private event operations as needed.

Marketing & Brand Awareness:

  • Promote awareness of Meow Wolf Houston through formal presentations and personal sales calls while ensuring Meow Wolf brand values, culture, and artistic vision are top of mind.

  • Research and monitor Meow Wolf brand representation on all distribution channels and listings to maintain optimal brand standards and content. Ensure content is accurate and updated in a timely manner as additions/changes are made.

Other Duties:

  • Support onsite and offsite sales initiatives, activations, and promotions throughout the year.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • 4 + years sales experience in the venue, hotel or affiliated industry.  

  • Local relationships in channels outlined including, local arts districts, Chambers of Commerce and location-specific arts and venues. 

  • Participation in Meetings and Events industry professional associations; i.e.MPI, NACE, ILEA, etc. 

  • Meetings and Events industry professional designations; i.e. CMP, CSEP, CPCE or CMM.

  • Experience giving in person multimedia presentations to groups of 5 +.

  • Experience with tight and aggressive deadlines and ability to close business deals.

  • Experience managing multiple channels and initiatives simultaneously.  

  • Flexible and able to make changes quickly, efficiently and effectively as needed. 

  • Self-motivated and patient with yourself and others 

  • Must be receptive to direction and perform well within a team environment.

  • Able to assist in the management of multiple tasks and possess the intuition to make calm, solution-driven decisions in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.

Work Environment and Physical Demands 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required.  

Work Environment: 

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners. This position also works in an indoor setting with exposure to noisy environments, dim lighting, strong visual effects including strobing lights, special effects, fog machines and small and/ or enclosed spaces. 

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical ability to walk, stand, take stairs/slides/elevators, and navigate the elements during the day and night. Employee may be required to remain in a sitting or standing position for prolonged periods, and repeat motions that may  include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.   Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

 This position does not require supervisory responsibility.
