Purpose and Scope
Delivers at a high level of competency in Grants & Special Population Compliance. Assesses and performs analysis on data, and prepares data to facilitate the Federal Programs functions of organization. The position is responsible for providing academic and other support as needed for students served by the identified federal program or grant.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or related field; Master's Degree preferred. Plus, two (2) years of related professional experience, OR an equivalent combination of realated education and experience totaling four (4) years. (PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED).

Ability to interpret and apply federal regulations (such as the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act) to ensure that state and local educational agencies are meeting program requirements. Skilled in monitoring program implementation, conducting audits or reviews, and providing technical assistance to ensure compliance and effective service delivery. Proficient in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to student homelessness, program participation, and outcomes. Ability to prepare reports, identify trends, and use data to inform policy recommendations or program improvements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build partnerships with state coordinators, school districts, shelters, and community organizations. Experienced in providing training, guidance, and support to ensure that school staff and community partners understand and effectively implement the requirements of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act.Other facts

What you'll do
- The Federal Programs Specialist oversees expenditures, ensures compliance with budget planning, and develops programs to support students served by federal programs. They also monitor participant progress and compile data for various reports.
