Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Clinical Nurse in Outpatient Ambulatory Services. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase compassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and make a meaningful impact in our MSK Outpatient Infusion center.  

 

Role Overview: 

  • Function in a reciprocal Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model. 

  • Manage a select caseload of patients receiving chemotherapy on an outpatient basis. 

  • Coordinate chemotherapy, biotherapy, and immunotherapy; conduct patient assessments, and offer symptom management and patient and family education. 

  • Participate in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to ensure efficient care throughout the healthcare continuum. 

  • Engage in an individualized training/orientation program geared to providing nursing care in an ambulatory setting. 

  • Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care throughout various stages of oncology treatment and follow-up. 

 

Key Qualifications:  

  • New York State RN license and BSN 

  • 1.5-2 years of related chemotherapy experience required 

  • Infusion experience and IV skills preferred 

  • Chemotherapy certification strongly preferred.

Additional Information: 

  • Location: Rockefeller Outpatient Pavilion, 160 East 53rd Street, New York, NY

  • Schedule: Flexed 10-hour shifts, 7am - 8.30pm Monday - Friday  

  • Reporting to: Nurse Leader

 

 

Pay Range: $122,800.00 - $196,500.00

 

FSLA Status: Exempt
