Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with RNFA) to provide comprehensive care to the Multi Surgical Specialty Team to meet the surgical, medical and psychosocial needs of our patients, implement and evaluate standards of care, and participate in research necessary to establish exemplary, evidence-based care.
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will join a team of over 900 NPs and PAs across MSK who are dedicated to delivering compassionate, expert and comprehensive cancer care to patients and families, supporting the mission, philosophy, standards, goals and objectives of the institution and department.
Role Overview:
• First and Second Assist, both open, Robotic and minimally invasive, in the Operating Room on Urologic, GYN, Head & Neck, GMT, with eventual expectation to train and assist in other subspecialties.
• Collaborate with members of a multidisciplinary team
• Provide comprehensive a variety of surgical patients
• Participate in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to ensure
optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum
Key Qualifications:
• Graduate from an accredited PA program
• NCCPA certification
• Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of related surgical experience is required
• Robotic Experience preferred
• BLS certification/ACLS certification
OR
• Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations RNFA
• Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
• Related National NP certification
• Minimum of 2 years of related clinical experience
• BLS certification/ACLS certification

Hours: Full time – training 10 hour days Monday - Friday, fully trained 13 hour days / Flexed Monday – Saturday (Hours flexed between 6:30 am & 10 pm)
Reports to: Director, APP
Pay Range: $155,500 - $197,400/annually
