Job Summary:
Assists the pharmacist to provide prescribed pharmaceuticals for a designated patient population. Provides technical support and other activities for the Pharmacy department as delegated by a pharmacist.
Required Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or GED
Licensure: Valid Mississippi driver's license. Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of MS. Must be certified as a CPHT by successful completion of the PTCB or ExCpt exam.
Experience: None
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Ability to learn medical abbreviations, drug strengths, IV solutions, drug generic and brand names, and basic pharmacy operations, including computer systems. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle
