Job Summary
Position is responsible for managing small to medium scale projects in support of IT business objectives.Minimum Qualifications
Education: Associates degree, preferred
Licenses/ Certifications: (None)
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
Eight (8) years experience in information systems without an Associates degree, or Six (6) years experience in information systems with an Associates degree
Six (6) years of project management experience, including projects of at least six (6) months duration and $300,000 budget
Demonstrated pattern of growth in ability to lead others
Planning and organizational skills
Record of consistent, effective use of project management methodology
Demonstrated record of effective communication with project sponsors, ISD management, and project team members
Demonstrated positive relationships with customers
Principal Accountabilities
Provides leadership to small or medium projects.
Assists in leading large projects, under the supervision of a Lead Project Manager.
May manage several projects simultaneously.
Performs project management administrative tasks.
Assumes responsibility for the success of assigned projects or portions of projects.
Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
