Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

Join a team of imaging professionals supporting Memorial Healthcare System’s six acute care hospitals. Work side by side with department staff across multiple facilities, delivering high-quality care where it’s needed most.

Responsibilities:

Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.

Demonstrates flexibility and competency to provide patient care throughout the South Broward Hospital District to a variety of patient populations.

Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.

Assists nurse with patient care.

Assists in decontamination, preparation and sterilization of instruments in sterile processing.

Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies. Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments.
