Summary:

Responsible for shipping and receiving functions. This role assures all packages are received, packed appropriately, shipped appropriately and on schedule. Properly ships all supplies and medications according to procedures.

Responsibilities:

Prepares packages for shipping. Assures the shipping information is accurate and legible on shipping labels. Ensures all medications and prescriptions are packaged appropriately according to stability guidelines, cold chain requirements and shipped through the correct vendor and method.Performs the loading and unloading of various stock and oversees the loading and unloading of deliveries.Performs other clerical duties as deemed fit by supervisorSupports medication distribution initiatives for the departmentWork within the required software application for proper documentation / receipt of deliveries. Reconciles open fulfillments prior to the end of day and arrival of shipping courier. Ensures all shipping department reports are generated and submitted in a timely manner.Ensures all merchandise, supplies and shipping containers are ordered and restocked.Inspects packages for accuracy, integrity and reports accordingly.
