Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care

What You’ll Do:

Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals with acute medical needs.Conduct detailed assessments and develop individualized care plans that support recovery.Administer medications, IV therapies and treatments with precision and adherence to best practices.Monitor patient conditions, responding proactively to changes and adjusting care plans as needed.Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery strategies and long-term health management.Collaborate with physicians, specialists and healthcare teams to ensure seamless, coordinated care.

Qualifications

Who We’re Looking For:

A dedicated nurse who thrives in an acute care setting, demonstrates excellent clinical judgment and prioritizes patient-centered care.

 

Education, Licensures & Certifications:

  • Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
  • BSN preferred
  • Licensed RN in Illinois
  • CPR certification required or must be completed during onboarding

Experience:

  • New graduates and experienced RNs welcome
  • 2-3 years of acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care in alignment with hospital policies and clinical standards.
  • Monitor patient progress, document care interventions and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Support patient education efforts to enhance understanding and self-care management.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Assist in training, mentoring and onboarding new nurses and students.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols, infection control measures and regulatory requirements.
