A Day in the Life

Atrial fibrillation affects over 33 million individuals worldwide and is the most common form of serious arrhythmia. Being in a fast-growing cardiac ablation business segment and with recent acquisition of the Mapping and Ablation System, we are poised to provide innovative solutions to address unmet needs for many patients. We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Electrophysiology Mapping Specialist to join our team to further drive the growth of the business.

Reporting to the Iberia Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Operating Unit, this role is critical in providing expert clinical and technical support and training to physicians and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Staff on the optimal use of the Mapping and Ablation System.
The working territory will be Badajoz, and you will be expected to be located in or near the city.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide proficient clinical and technical assistance to physicians and EP Lab Staff on the use of the Mapping and Ablation System and related equipment (Generators, software (SW) functionalities, pump and accessories)
  • Provide in-service training to introduce new technologies to various hospital stakeholders and ensure technology acceptance
  • Be an active participant in the development of advanced clinical workflows
  • Work closely with the education team and support the development of training centers
  • Share clinical best practices with colleagues to continuously optimize customer experience
  • Work with field service engineers on technical troubleshooting
  • Develop best-in-class professional customer relationships
  • Provide feedback on marketing on system utilization and participate in NPD (New product development) discussions 
  • Ability to manage high-stress situations with a clear problem-solving mindset.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree is required in electrical or medical engineering or related scientific disciplines 
  • At least 1 year of clinical Electrophysiology experience and/or in a successful independent support of Electrophysiology mapping procedures
  • Experience working in medical device, pharmaceutical, life science industry
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Ability to work well is a cross-functional environment and in a team, willingness to be flexible and travel as required
  • Independent, self-reliant thinking and acting as well as a sense of responsibility
  • Enthusiasm and decisiveness. Ability to work in EP Labs and achieve vendor credentialing.
