About this role

Overview

The Patient Experience Coordinator will be proficient in levels 1-3 of patient experience navigation and will provide support to the Patient Experience Supervisor with quality assurance, scheduling accuracy audits, department metrics, and error resolution, as well as acting as a liaison to referring offices and providing education in conjunction with the physician engagement team. Collaboration on all aspects of an outstanding consumer experience will be integral in day-to-day activities.


Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform all duties associated with Levels 1 through 3 of patient experience navigation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve patient experiences, make recommendations for consumer service improvement plans, and create call coaching plans for quality assurance.
  • Assist in escalations and team member issue resolution.
  • Stand in as department leader in absence of other leaders.
  • Consistently reviews core processes looking for improvement opportunities and facilitating those processes throughout the scheduling system. Demonstrates a personal commitment to continuous quality improvement through active participation. Aids our referral offices in the use of EPIC/QRIS as their referral base all outpatient radiology exams.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education
• High School Diploma or GED


Prior Experience
• 4+ years’ experience in a related field


Special Qualifications
• Ability to understand basic medical terminology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experience, and competency in customer relation skills in a professional environment. Ability to organize and prioritize work in a stressful environment. Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and is self-directed. Enhanced problem-solving skills. Basic medical terminology. Exemplary keyboarding skills and experience in patient registration systems and familiarity with personal computers. Basic knowledge of hospital performed procedures.
