
Position Purpose (Mission):
Serve as an assistant to the center’s radiologist (MD) and technologist (R) for the purpose of ensuring patients safety, pre and post contrast administration. Perform accurate patient histories and monitoring. Maintain detailed patient encounter logs to include history and consent documentation. Discuss procedure with patients when indicated or administering medications or contrast.
Education:
• Paramedic License
• Must have CPR certification
• Must be ACLS certified
• Must be PALS certified
• Proficient in obtaining patient vitals to include O2Sat, blood pressure, respiratory rate, heart rate (pulse), body temperature
• Complete company approved orientation and contrast reaction training
Prior Experience:
• 2 –5 years of experience
Special Qualifications:
Experience as a technical assistant.
