To provide clinical psychology services in line with professional standards and regulatory requirements
Conducts detailed psychological assessments using
standardized tools and clinical interviews
Formulates referral questions and selects appropriate
psychometric measures.
Analyses data to formulate clinical impressions and
diagnoses.
Prepares structured psychological reports for clinical
teams and stakeholders.
Develops action plans based on evaluation outcomes.
Develops and implements individualized treatment
plans using evidence-based psychotherapies.
Delivers psychotherapy across modalities (e.g., CBT,
ACT, DBT, brief therapy).
Continuously monitors progress and adjusts
interventions accordingly.
Ensures cultural sensitivity and patient-centered care
in all interventions.
Facilitates group therapy, family sessions, and
psychoeducation where appropriate.
Collaborate with fertility specialists and genetic
counsellors to ensure consistent and empathetic
delivery of difficult information. (Applicable to IVF only)
Support patients in understanding implications of
adverse findings, including risk communication.
Participates in MDT meetings and case discussions to
support integrated care.
Provides consultative input to physicians, nurses, and
other healthcare professionals.
Refers patients to other services when clinically
indicated.
Recognizes own professional limitations and seeks
guidance when required.
Supports organizational policies and legal frameworks
in decision-making.
Maintains clear, accurate, and timely clinical records in
line with legal and institutional standards.
Ensures confidentiality and compliance with regulatory
policies.
Records relevant coding and documentation for
insurance and billing.
Reports irregularities or record-keeping discrepancies. •
Participates in internal audits and quality assurance
activities.
Demonstrates commitment to ethical practice and
client welfare.
Identifies and resolves ethical dilemmas in a timely,
principled manner.
Maintains professional boundaries and respects client
autonomy.
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology (Master’s or Doctorate) from an accredited university
Certification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychometrics, or similar specialized therapeutic approaches. Continuing professional development in advanced clinical methods or neuropsychological assessment
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in psychological assessment and intervention. Experience in delivering psychotherapy across different modalities and patient demographics.
Experience in a hospital or multidisciplinary clinical setting is highly desirable. Exposure to multicultural or UAE-based healthcare environments preferred
