Job Description

The Respiratory Therapy Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the respiratory therapy department(s), ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient staffing. This role involves leadership, clinical expertise, and administrative oversight to support the delivery of respiratory care services across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or working to achieve Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Licensure/Certification:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Licensed by the Board of Medicine to practice in the state of South Carolina

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Skills:

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in EMR systems and respiratory care technology.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
