Job Description Summary

The Ambulatory Registered Nurse II provides clinical nursing care to the patient and works alongside the provider team and other clinical staff during the patient’s clinic appointment. This includes utilizing the nursing process, order entry, providing patient education, assisting with procedures, charting in the EMR (EPIC), managing patient in-basket messages, and coordination of care.

Job Description

- $4,000 sign on bonus for ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) Certified Nurses & OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)

• Both out of state and/or in state qualify

• Not available for internal hires

• The ONS Certification needs to be obtained prior to signing offer letter.

- $2,000 sign on bonus for Non-Certified Nurses

• Both out of state and/or in state qualify

• Not available for internal hires

Registered Nurse Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred. RN staff hired on or after July 1, 2013 with an Associate or Diploma degree in nursing are required to be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two years and successfully obtain a BSN degree within four years of the RN hire or reclassification date. A minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required. Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.  Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.

Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand or at a distance. (Continuous) Ability to match or discriminate between colors. (Continuous) Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception. (Continuous) Good peripheral vision capabilities. (Continuous) Ability to maintain hearing acuity, with correction.
