Job Description

As a PTA, you’ll work side-by-side with our Physical Therapists to help patients recover from injury, illness, surgery, and chronic conditions. Your impact will be felt every single day.

  • Assist Physical Therapists with patient evaluations and treatment delivery

  • Prepare patients and therapy equipment for safe, effective sessions

  • Implement treatment plans, including:

    • Therapeutic exercises

    • Stretching and mobility techniques

    • Hands-on therapy

    • Use of therapeutic equipment

  • Monitor and document patient responses to treatment

  • Provide clear status updates and treatment notes after each session

Additional Job Description

Education:  Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.

Certification/Licensure: Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant by the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required before seeing patients.
