Our multi-disciplinary team are looking for a dynamic and driven health professional with a passion for injury management and workplace rehabilitation. We are especially looking for a health professional with a psychology or rehabilitation counselling background to join our experienced team of consultants.

This opportunity is truly unique and is perfect if you are looking for a position with plenty of variety, autonomy, and flexible working hours. We open to full or part time working arrangements. 

Job Description

As a Rehab Consultant with TWS, you will deliver holistic, client centered services within workplace rehabilitation. Using your clinical knowledge and health background, you will be an integral part of assisting injured workers to recover at work and achieve independence at home, in the workplace and the community, improving their wellbeing and purpose in life. 

Day to day, you will undertake:

  • Workplace rehabilitation services in line with your scope of practice, such as:
    • Initial Needs Assessments
    • Rehabilitation Counselling
    • Vocational Assessments
  • Medical case conferences, stakeholder liaison and case management services
  • Support needs assessments

Qualifications

You will bring to the role:

  • Full registration with relevant professional body (AHPRA/ASORC)
  • Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills
  • A self-starter with a go-getter attitude, taking pride in a job well-done
  • Ability to complete a satisfactory Working with Children Check, and Police Clearance
  • Current Australian driver's license and vehicle
  • Willingness to learn and impact positively on people’s lives in tangible ways
  • The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
