MedBridge Healthcare is seeking a Full Time experienced RPSGT or RT to work in our Midtown lab in MD. The position will provide sleep services 3-4 nights per week from 8:00PM-6:00AM. Competitive hourly rates available, depending on experience.   

MedBridge is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy. MedBridge partners with hospitals and physician practices to offer comprehensive fully-integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment and long-term care management of patients with sleep disorders.   

 Responsibilities will include:   

· facilitating tests and collecting data   

· responsible for preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results   

· responsible for following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks   

· analysis (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulation of final data to be submitted for further review   

· required compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control   

 Job Requirements:   

· High school diploma required   

· Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program preferred   

· Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist "RPSGT" and/or Respiratory Therapist license(s) and MD State License required   

· Current BCLS certification.   

Pay starts at 40 per hour and up DOE

Physical Demands of the Job:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

1.   The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.

2.   The employee is required to use his/her hands to operate office equipment.

3.   The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
