About this role

  1. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
  2. Demonstrates an understanding of all services offered by Occupational Health, serving as a liaison between Occupational Health and industry clients. 
  3. Demonstrates the ability to maintain clerical processes for the department including patient scheduling/discharge, and schedule management. 
  4. Duties include but are not limited to: meeting set up, oversight of supply ordering, oversight of maintenance logs/reports, and assistance with clinical duties. 
  5. Assist provider in providing nurse case management for McLeod Health employees in your designated location. Case management will include initial injury assessment, interview, management of related documentation, post-accident drug/alcohol testing, coordination of care between the employer and provider, referrals, and authorization of prescription/treatment for each claim. Primary liaison to the McLeod Health WC coordinator. 
  6. Other duties as assigned. 

 

Basic functions/responsibilities: 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to, assisting with all physical examinations,  venipuncture, immunization administration, DOT BAT & certified urine drug screen collection, respirator fit testing, fitness for duty assessments, PCT testing, work related injury case management point of contact, triage, and assistance to the occupational health provider. 

 

Work Schedule: 80 hours bi-weekly

 

Qualifications /Training:

 

  • Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse; or other licensed clinical position. 
  • Occupational health experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to solve problems and follow through to solutions.
  • Ability to function independently. 

 

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:

South Carolina RN/LPN or other clinical license

Occupational Health certification preferred but not required
