The Financial Analyst plays a critical role supporting McLeod’s financial operations supporting financial processes, financial analysis, financial planning, reporting, and operational decision‑making within the organization. This role analyzes financial data for insights and accuracy, evaluates trends, develops forecasts, and provides insights that guide leadership in improving financial performance, reducing costs, and supporting quality patient care. The financial analyst works closely and supports the Finance Business Partners in their role of partnering with assigned operational areas.
Support prudent financial management through data analysis, interpretation, reporting and modeling.
Perform monthly and/or ad hoc reporting, prepares pro formas based on historical, comparative, and projection data.
Provide accurate analysis to support outcome and impact-based decision making.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets with a high degree of accuracy.
Monitor performance against budget, forecast, and strategic goals bringing forward insights and deviations from trends or targets.
Support development of reporting in financial systems and dashboards as well as maintaining financial models.
Assists in annual budget preparation and re‑forecast processes.
Partners with and supports Finance Business partners engaging with assigned operational areas to achieve financial targets and goals.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of meeting McLeod’s mission, their assigned operational groups, and the Finance team.
