McGrath Toyota in Iowa City, part of the McGrath Family of Dealerships, is looking for a customer-focused, detail-oriented Service Advisor to support our fast-paced service department. What You’ll Do
🔹 Greet and assist customers in the service lane with professionalism and care
🔹 Guide customers through the service process, offering clear communication and concierge-level support
🔹 Manage repair orders and coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow
🔹 Present and sell recommended services and maintenance options
🔹 Maintain ongoing communication with customers during service visits
🔹 Help create a smooth, welcoming, and productive service department experience
What We’re Looking For
✔️ Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role (preferred)
✔️ Strong communication and time management skills
✔️ Friendly, organized, and energetic personality
✔️ Ability to multitask and manage multiple vehicles and clients
✔️ Professional appearance and attitude
✔️ Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
✔️ Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
🔹 Work performed at a desk and in the service lane
🔹 Moderate noise level typical of a dealership environment
🔹 Frequent movement around the dealership to complete tasks
🔹 Occasionally lift or move objects up to 20 pounds
🔹 Regular use of hands and fingers for typing and handling materials
🔹 Clear communication required to coordinate with customers and team members
