Responsibilities may include:
Marking and Grading
Preparing Course Materials
Assisting Students' learning
Leading discussions.
Project Supervision
Provide feedback to students on presentations and/or course work.
Attending classes (Wednesday & Friday 14:35-17:25)
Qualifications:
A PhD or Master’s degree related to the course/faculty is an asset.
Knowledge related to course content.
Experience with academic writing and providing feedback, willingness to conference with students and collaborate, openness to alternative assessment model.
DISE and McGill students will have priority.
French is an asset
As per collective agreement 2.11 A teaching assistant is a Graduate student at the Master’s or Doctoral level employed to assist a Course Supervisor as a Teaching Assistant or Demonstrator.
