Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Clinic Manager, provides assistance in the clinical/preclinical area by maintaining dental chairs, dental units and other items of dental equipment in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with the Faculty’s Infection Control Policy (ICP) and Guidelines. Other duties include assisting in the clinic dispensary and preparing clinical supplies by: cleaning and oiling dental handpieces; wrapping and bagging supplies; cleaning impression trays; washing instrumentation kits; loading and unloading sterilizers; maintaining adequate stocks of consumable dental supplies and replenish sundries and materials; and assisting in special assignments as requested. The incumbent may also provide similar services to other clinics as needed.
