McCorvey Companies is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team!
McCorvey Sheet Metal is a 3rd generation- Family owned and operated company with the 4th generation heavily involved; we have over 1200 employees with locations in Houston, Orlando, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Nashville, Raleigh and Charlotte. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. McCorvey works primarily on larger projects such as healthcare facilities, research labs, sports stadiums, hospitality, government, education, and many other vertical markets. Responsibilities:
- Full cycle AP including reviewing, verifying, coding, and processing invoices and expense reports
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Weekly check runs
- Assist with month-end closing
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
- Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Filing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong data entry skills
- Responsive team player with the ability to quickly prioritize among numerous pressing tasks

What you'll do
