Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The position includes but is not limited to handling all administrative tasks on our Deeds team. The bulk of tasks encompass timely drafting of deeds and other legal documents, timely follow-up and correspondence with all interested parties, maintaining paper and electronic files, the utilization and maintenance of a variety of client systems as well as a large amount of customer service driven responsibilities. In this position you will need to possess the willingness to work in a team as well as the ability to be self-driven and work independently whenever needed.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Obtain vesting information from client
  • Draft deeds
  • Obtain exempt stamps from municipalities
  • Record deeds via e-recording
  • Reviewing account histories and loan documents.
  • Draft notices, motions, and orders.
  • Prepare all document within firm, client/investor, and court timeframes and with high accuracy.
  • Consistently and accurately updating the firm’s internal case management system.
  • Providing regular and timely client status updates.
  • Continual follow-up on outstanding documents and or services.
  • Ensure there are no areas of back-log.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients at every level of interaction.
  • Providing support to attorneys in a high volume, time sensitive atmosphere.
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as needed.
  • Work on projects, as directed by your supervisor or manager.

This job does not require supervisory responsibilities



EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years’ administrative experience;


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Overall good attitude and willingness to adapt to change

  • Strong document preparation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • You must be a motivated self starter who is able to multi-task

  • Experience with client systems such as BKFS, Clarifire, Tempo, Vendorscape and others is preferred.
  • High-level proficiency in MS Office suite

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
